lap_poolGlenmore’s state-of-the-art Fitness Center consists of a group exercise room for fitness classes and a separate weight/cardiovascular room. Equipment includes treadmills, recumbent bikes, upright bikes,cross-trainers, rowers and step machines. There are separate paramount weight machines for strength training, an assortment of free weights and both flat and incline benches.

Glenmore’s Fitness Center offers a wide array of personal training sessions as well as several levels of group aerobics and seasonal exercise classes such as spinning, Pilates, yoga, cross training, Fit Over Fifty, and aquatics classes.  There is also an AED on site.   

Laura Devine, Glenmore’s Fitness Director, is a certified personal trainer and a certified Zumba instructor who has worked in both large and small fitness clubs.  After working in New York City at several clubs including Bally’s, she moved to Chicago.  While there she was a group fitness instructor and personal trainer at Spa Chakra at the Palmer House Hilton before taking a facility director/trainer position at Motiv Personal Training.  During 2010, she has worked as a personal trainer and group instructor at Success Studio Fitness in Charlottesville.
